Acrisure, a fintech company that operates a global insurance broker, announced a partnership with Coalition, a global provider of cyber insurance and security.
Acrisure’s Cyber Services division will offer the Coalition Risk Assessment, designed to help small and midsize organizations understand their cyber and digital risk exposure. The risk assessment offers a personalized view into an organization’s cyber vulnerabilities and subsequent recommendations to remediate issues. From there, clients can work with Acrisure to obtain security, insurance and recovery services.
In early 2022, Acrisure announced its Cyber Services vertical, joining Insurance, Reinsurance, Real Estate Services, and Asset & Wealth Management as divisions powered by Acrisure’s technology capabilities and global distribution network.
Neptune Flood, an artificial intelligence-driven flood insurance company, entered a strategic collaboration with ICEYE, an international, satellite imagery company providing earth observation data via synthetic-aperture radar (SAR) constellation.
As part of the collaboration, ICEYE will provide Neptune Flood with high-resolution flood hazard data in the immediate aftermath of a flood event to enable monitoring of Neptune’s insured geolocations for micro changes in water depths around properties. The agreement also allows for exploration of future initiatives including triggers for parametric insurance products offered through Neptune’s Jumpstart brand.
Triton, Neptune’s patent-pending artificial intelligence engine, processes insurance quotes daily utilizing machine learning to influence risk selection, pricing and disaggregation. Quotes are available through both a network of geographically distributed agencies and directly to consumers through its website.
Insurity, a provider of cloud-based software for insurance carriers, brokers and managing general agencies, announced that it will provide its new, cloud-based Sure Underwriting Workbench solution at a 50 percent base license fee discount to property/casualty carriers and will waive all direct written premium-based charges for the first year of a license. The first five existing Insurity customers who license Sure Underwriting Workbench will also receive 500 implementation hours for no charge as part of the promotion.
Sure Underwriting Workbench aims to streamline the underwriting process and improve decision-making by enabling an account-level view of risk to underwrite multiple products together regardless of policy systems.
To qualify for the discounted pricing, P/C carriers must execute a three-year contract of Sure Underwriting Workbench by Sept. 30, 2022.
