Allied World sees opportunity in writing coverage for hunting and fishing resorts, lodges and plantations.
The Swiss insurer and reinsurer is partnering with Venture Insurance Programs on the new Sportsman specialty insurance program. Venture’s Suitelife Program will offer the coverage, which Allied World will underwrite.
What will be included in the Sportsman Insurance plan? There are a wide range of targeted areas, including property, general liability, crime, commercial auto, liquor liability, cyber liability and umbrella liability.
Venture Insurance Programs is a privately-owned specialty insurance program administrator based in West Chester, PA. Previously, Venture expanded its Preferred Clubs Program, which provides coverage for golf and country clubs through Allied World North America.
“We have worked with Venture Insurance Programs for many years and are excited to expand our relationship with them on the new Sportsman Program,” Grace Meek, senior Vice President, programs for Allied World, said in prepared remarks.
