
California’s CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer, announced the appointment of J. Paul McCaffrey Jr. as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer, a 25-year veteran of the industry.
McCaffrey comes to the California personal lines insurance company from Grange Insurance, a Columbus, Ohio-based insurance company with $2 billion in assets and more than $1 billion in annual revenue. At Grange Insurance, McCaffrey served as president, CFO and treasurer and was responsible for all financial aspects of the company including investments, risk management, actuarial, accounting, corporate planning, and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Grange Insurance in 2006, he was a senior manager with Ernst & Young and held finance roles with International Total Services, Revco D.S., and Sherwin-Williams.
