Ironshore International has acquired Savannah Insurance Agency of Sydney, Australia, effective immediately.
Savannah Insurance Agency’s team of underwriters will join Ironshore Australia’s offices, broadening its regional presence. Overseeing integration of the companies will be Katherine Simmonds, managing director of Ironshore Australia.
Savannah Insurance Agency, founded in 2009, is an established Lloyd’s coverholder and underwrites various lines of business, including personal accident, public liability, professional indemnity, management liability and property.
Ironshore Australia underwrites a range of property and casualty lines, including mergers & acquisitions and tax liability, political risk, trade credit, marine cargo and agriculture commercial risks.
