Teruki Morinaga is a director in Fitch Ratings’ insurance group. Based in Tokyo, he follows life and non-life insurers in Japan. Prior to joining Fitch in January 2010, he was a vice president at BlackRock. Previously, he was an equity research analyst at Fidelity Investments. Morinaga started his career in 1991 at The Industrial Bank of Japan as a credit analyst. He later joined Merrill Lynch Mercury Asset Management as a fixed income fund manager in 1999.
