AlphaCat Managers Ltd. announced late last week that Jo Anne Stanton has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of AlphaCat.

Stanton joined the company in 2009 and most recently served as Vice President and Controller.
Prior to joining AlphaCat, she was an Interim Professional with contracts in senior accounting and financial controller positions at companies including major reinsurers and fund administrators.
Prior to that, she was a manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Stanton is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales.
AlphaCat Managers Ltd. was formed in 2008 and is an operating subsidiary of Validus Holdings, Ltd. Headquartered in Bermuda, AlphaCat acts as an insurance-linked securities (ILS) investment advisor focused on the property-catastrophe reinsurance sector.
The company manages assets through a range of vehicles including funds, sidecars and rated reinsurers.
