Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance announced Tuesday that Todd M. Greeley joined the firm as Vice President, Claims, Executive & Professional Lines.
Greeley was previously a vice president at CNA Financial Corp.
David Crowe, SVP, Chief Claims Officer, Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance noted Greeley’s extensive claims experience and legal background in a statement about the appointment , adding that Greeley will be working closely with underwriters as the company works to enhance its products and grow its executive and professional lines.
Before joining CNA Financial Corp in 2002, Greeley was an attorney in private practice in New York, where he focused on commercial litigation and represented executive and professional liability insurers. He began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.
Greeley will be based in Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance’s New York office.
