The National Association of Insurance Commissioners voted to implement an addition to U.S. insurance regulation known as the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment Model Act back in 2011, but it is this year that is a critical one for many property/casualty carriers.

P/C insurers that did not participate in the NAIC’s pilot project in 2012 will be filing ORSA reports for the first time in 2015.
