Customers who have been buying personal auto insurance from Metromile may have the option of adding homeowners or renters to a coverage package in the not-too-distant future, the CEO revealed recently.
Metromile Chief Executive Officer Dan Preston didn’t mention any homeowners or renters insurers by name, but he did tell Carrier Management that the pay-per-mile InsurTech carrier is seeking to expand value for its customers through partnerships with other property/casualty insurers that can offer the companion products, aiming to deliver on this later this year.
