Trov, an insurance technology company, said it is partnering with sustainable digital car rental platform UFDODRIVE on its fleet of electric vehicles.
How their arrangement will work: UFODRIVE will use Trov’s Mobility Insurance Platform for their electric vehicle fleet. The platform adds risk operations technology as well as context-based commercial insurance, managed by UK Insurance Business Solutions under the NIG brand, both of which are part of the Direct Line Group.
UFODRIVE intends to use the Trov technology to monitor, manage and mitigate their insured and uninsured risks more effectively. UFODRIVE is an all-electric, user-friendly, digital, sustainable car rental platform headquartered in Luxembourg and 7 other countries.

Allstate-owned National General Holdings Corp. expanded its private flood insurance product into 13 additional states.
The specialty personal lines insurance holding company’s product – Beyond Floods, focuses on local, analytical, personalized flood coverage that is specific to the property. Beyond Floods is an AM Best A- rated private flood product, and is now available in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia, with plans to expand to additional states soon.
According to Mohan Rajasekar, senior vice president of flood insurance products, Beyond Floods analyzes over 200 data points on every property that details the property’s risk exposure to assist customers in picking the right flood product.
Chad LaTour, vice president of emerging markets, said agents can quote the product in three minutes or less with no elevation certificate required.
National General Holdings Corp., is headquartered in New York City and provides personal and commercial automobile, homeowners, umbrella, recreational vehicle, motorcycle, supplemental health and other niche insurance products.
