Kelly, most recently head of investor relations, takes on the new position starting on Oct. 2, and will also join the Group Executive Committee.

He replaces Mark Kociancic, who SCORE said “has decided to pursue a new direction in his career” after serving as SCOR Group CFO since 2013, and before that, in finance-related senior positions at the company going back to 2006.

Denis Kessler, SCOR chairman and CEO, noted in prepared remarks that Kelly has spent much of his career at SCOR and knows the company “extremely well” as a result.
