Startup Next Insurance is now marketing digital insurance policies for personal trainers through two sports and fitness associations. Specialist insurer QBE North America added data breach planning services to all of its cyber insurance policies.

Next Insurance, a digital insurance company focused on small businesses, will partner with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the Athletics and Fitness Association of America to offer tailored digital insurance policies for personal trainers.
Both associations will market the Next Insurance offering through their websites. Those policies will include full online access, complete within minutes; a monthly payment option; the ability to add unlimited “additional insureds” to the policy; easy downloading of a Certificate of Insurance as needed; and inexpensive policy pricing.
Next Insurance, founded in 2016, offers policies easy to buy with instant 24/7 online access to services such as Certificate of Insurance, Additional Insured and more with no extra fees.

Specialist insurer QBE North America has added data breach planning services to all of its cyber insurance policies.
By doing so, the carrier said it is giving policyholders a simplified approach to the development of a feasible cyber breach response plan. These services will be offered initially through Breach Plan Connect, which will be included in The Solution for Cyber Risk and give QBE’s customers the ability to access the plan whenever and wherever they need to in response to a cyber event.
The Solution for Cyber Risk includes a number of products designed to address potentially devastating exposures and help protect businesses if sensitive or protected data is compromised. Breach Plan Connect simplifies the data breach planning process by offering a checklist that includes best practices to follow when a data breach hits. It also includes links to QBE’s eRiskHub portal. Risk managers can customize the response plan to suit the needs of their organizations, and the soft-ware is based in the cloud.
