CNA beefed up its small business services with the launch of its new “Get a Quote” feature at www.cna.com/quote.

This new feature lets small business get a quick premium indication online for a CNA Connect business owners policy, and a Workers’ Compensation policy. Get a Quote provides small business owners with simplified access to independent agents for their business insurance needs.

Eligible small business owners will be able to receive a quick premium indication for a CNA Connect policy or a Workers’ Compensation policy while in the office or on the go. Small business owners will have the option to talk to a licensed producer or an independent agent throughout the process to answer any additional questions, customize coverage and complete purchase of the policy.

Starr Companies will start offering commercial drone insurance to members of The Academy of Model Aeronautics, or AMA.

Jim Anderson, Starr’s senior vice president, Aviation, said that the insurance will be provided to AMA members via the Harry A. Koch Agency.

Anderson also noted that the AMA has been a pioneer in providing training to the drone community, and added that the partnership makes sense in that context.

“The UAS market is growing rapidly and many of the existing members of the AMA will need a quick and cost-effective insurance” product, Anderson said in prepared remarks.

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance is now offering the Excess Integrated Follow Form for contractors in the U.S. and Canada – a single excess policy that sits atop multiple first- and third-party insurance policies.

The new BHSI policy provides excess follow form protection above multiple underlying coverages, including general liability, environmental liability, employer’s liability, and professional liability. The excess coverage comes with a single limit, backed by BHSI. The Excess Integrated Follow Form is designed for larger contractors with complex exposures.

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance provides commercial property, casualty, healthcare professional liability, executive and professional lines, surety, travel, programs, medical stop loss, and homeowners insurance.
