Travelers is offering an online system in the UK to provide quick management liability quotes. PURE has expanded its E&S homeowners coverage to South Carolina. Markel UK has introduced new coverage for media and creative industries.
Travelers Insurance Co. Ltd. in the UK has launched a new online system that enables UK brokers to receive management liability quotes and bind coverage for their clients in a matter of minutes.
Accessed through the My Travelers e-trade platform, the Management Liability Package streamlines the quoting process and helps brokers bind D&O liability, employment practices liability, pension trustees liability, and commercial crime coverage.
Brokers can generate multiple quotes in a few clicks; amend information at any time; choose from multiple limit options; copy and paste quotes from the online tool into other documents; and create multiple quote options, binding only the parts the client needs.
The system also gives brokers built-in support through a live chat function that connects directly to the underwriters, step-by-step video demos, answers to common questions and tips to make the transaction more efficient.
The PURE Group of Insurance Companies has expanded its PURE Programs E&S offering, designed to protect higher-risk homes insured for $1 million or more, into South Carolina.
Highlights of PURE Programs:
PURE Programs is currently available in Florida and South Carolina and will be introduced in additional states in 2017. Licensed P/C brokers in these states do not need to hold an E&S license to introduce business to PURE Programs.
Markel UK has introduced a package policy for media and creative industries that provides a wide range of covers to a broad selection of businesses, as well as access to a free debt recovery helpline, provided by solicitors DWF.
Markel’s creative and media policy brings together a mandatory professional liability section, with a combined wording for liability, property, cyber and D&O.
Policyholders can access advice on the realities of litigation and options to proceed when the business is faced with problems recovering outstanding fees from a customer.
The new product targets freelance professionals and startups, as well as larger media businesses who require more bespoke underwriting and risk management.
