The Latest Launches From USAA, QBE North America, XL Catlin and The Hanover

Bigger Better and Faster Product as a ConceptUSAA has added new features to its digital wallet app. QBE has partnered with SUA Agency to offer professional liability coverage to mortgage specialists. XL Catlin has enhanced its D&O offering in France. The Hanover Insurance Group has expanded its equipment breakdown protection to include technology-based equipment.

QBE-InsuranceQBE North America has partnered with Stateside Underwriting Agency (SUA) to offer clients who are title agents, abstractors and escrow agents professional liability insurance for primary and excess coverage.

Mortgage company professional liability and mortgage bankers bond insurance will be offered as excess coverage. The coverage will be provided through QBE North America’s insurance companies on both an admitted and nonadmitted basis.

Xl CatlinXL Catlin has enhanced its directors and officers insurance offering in France with the launch of three coverages catering respectively to midsize companies, publicly listed companies and financial institutions.

These solutions protect business leaders and their personal wealth when they are being held liable in the performance of their company duties, both at home in France and in other countries they may operate in.

Hanover logo square5 600x600The Hanover Insurance Group has expanded its equipment breakdown protection to include technology-based equipment.

The new coverage includes microelectronics—whether or not physical damage is visible; cloud computing service interruption; and service interruption data restoration. Off-premises equipment breakdown has been extended to include business income, extra expense and data restoration, in addition to physical damage. There is also coverage for public relations assistance to help manage a reputation that may be damaged by an interruption.

These enhancements are already available for The Hanover’s agent partners on business owner’s policies and will be included on commercial package property and monoline property policies with effective dates on or after Dec. 15.
