It is an understatement to say that Ruckersville, Va., is a small community. But it hosts an organization that has for decades cast a large presence within the property/casualty insurance industry.

Ruckersville sits a short drive north of Charlottesville, surrounded by farmland, trees and scenic mountain views. Reachable off of Route 29, it takes mere minutes to pass through on the highway. An urban dweller might call it “in the middle of nowhere,” with fewer than 2,000 people living there, according to U.S. Census data.
