One former candidate, Carly Fiorina, fell off the stage at an Indiana rally, while another, Ben Carson, lost a tooth at a breakfast event in South Carolina. In a tragic example, a Carson campaign worker died from injuries sustained in a car accident. These events may be indicative of physical hazards also faced by voters, conference attendees, volunteers and journalists on the campaign trail.
