More Executive Moves

March 7, 2016

Executive changes went well beyond CEO turnover in 2015. M&A deals between P/C industry giants brought plenty of movement in the wake of the ACE/Chubb merger deal, for example, with ACE executives winning many of the major reassignments. The merger also created opportunities for outside execs seeking to grow in a new environment. At the new XL Catlin, the companies’ decision to merge led to a fair amount of executive shuffling. Turmoil at AIG and Zurich also helped foster plenty of higher-level departures, reassignments and new hires. Here, Carrier Management presents a partial list of some of the key executive changes in each situation.
