The Hartford is eyeing nonprofit groups with new features added to its flagship management liability offering. Separately, The Hanover Insurance Group beefed up an important product with new enhancements and broadened coverages. CFC Underwriting will partner with CyberScout to offer cyber support services to its customers internationally.

The Hartford expanded its flagship management liability offering with new features for nonprofit organizations.

According to the insurer, its Private Choice Premier coverage now has management liability coverage blended with risk management services with an eye on nonprofits.

The product already includes coverage elements such as directors, officers and entity liability, employment practices liability, fiduciary liability, kidnap & ransom/extortion, workplace violence expense, crisis management public relations reimbursement and expense coverage for cyber breaches.

Private Choice Premier for nonprofits will be available for trade/professional associations, chambers of commerce, libraries, foundations and charities, museums and more. It will also use an agent portal known as HFP Pronto, pitched as having as streamlined submission process that can create quotes and request binding with the support of eSignature capabilities online.

The Hanover Insurance Group said it has expanded its Hanover Education Advantage suite of products with new enhancements and broadened coverages.

The idea behand the changes is to give The Hanover’s agent partners greater opportunities to customize insurance protection to meet their clients’ needs.

New enhancement include:

New coverage features are now available for policies with effective dates on or after June 1, 2017.

CFC Underwriting has partnered with CyberScout, a to offer what it bills as innovative, best-in-class cyber support services to its customers internationally.

CyberScout, an outfit with expertise about identity management and data theft, will provide CFC customers with help in identity theft remediation, consumer notification and cyber fraud monitoring.

Through the partnership, CFC customers can now directly tap into CyberScout’s highly experienced fraud specialists. CFC said that these services complement its own offerings in areas including internal and partner-provided risk management services focused on the cyber risks faced by their insureds.

CFC also has an in-house incident response team, activated by a cyber incident response app 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
