A Chubb division in London named a new senior casualty underwriter. Arch Insurance Group appointed someone to lead its U.S. Construction division in the western part of the country. Willis Towers Watson has a new global head of Financial Lines.

Lee Clarke has been appointed as senior casualty underwriter for Chubb Global Markets, the London-based wholesale insurance division of Chubb.

Clarke, in his new role, will be responsible for the management and profitable growth of Chubb Global Market’s casualty portfolio. He’ll also have a broader role in expanding Chubb’s international casualty business.

Clarke has more than 30 years of insurance industry experience, particularly in casualty broking and underwriting. He worked for Chubb from 1998 through 2005 in London, South Africa and Ireland, and rejoins the insurer from Novae, where he was deputy unit head, International Casualty.

Arch Insurance Group named Matthew Parsons as regional vice president for its U.S. Construction division, Western Region.

Parsons will be based in Arch’s San Francisco office, managing Arch’s Construction business in the Western Region.

Previously, he was underwriting manager, National Insurance Construction, for Liberty Mutual in San Francisco. He also held various Liberty Mutual underwriting positions in Boston and Washington, D.C.

Willis Towers Watson appointed Alexis Faber as global head of Financial Lines. Previously, she was co-head of the Global Financial Lines, and also leader of FINEX in North America.

As global head of Financial Lines, Faber will handle the strategic direction of the Financial Lines business. She’ll lead a team of more than 800 people around the world focused on helping Willis Towers Watson be the leading risk advisor for clients in this product space.

At the same time, Faber has been and will continue to be responsible for the strategic direction of Willis Towers Watson’s global Cyber business. As well, she’ll continue to report to Todd Jones, Willis Towers Watson’s Global Head of Corporate Risk & Broking.

Faber has been with Willis since 2003 and previously worked in investment banking at Citigroup.
