Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Co. appointed two former Chubb executives to help lead its entry into Australia’s accident & health insurance market.

Before BHSI, Kenny was previously national manager, Broker Market, Accident & Health at Chubb Insurance Co. in Australia. He also has experience on the broking side of the business from Aon Risk Solutions in Sydey, and Ogilvy & Ogilvy in Toronto.

They’ll help roll out and market an A&H product line including corporate travel insurance, group personal accident insurance, expatriate insurance, inpatriate insurance, journey insurance and voluntary workers insurance.

Kemper Corp. hired a former Erie Insurance Group executive as its latest president of the carrier’s property/casualty division.

George “Chip” Dufala, Jr. will report to Kemper President and CEO Joseph Lacher, Jr. and be based in Chicago.

Prevously, Dufala was executive vice president, Services, at Erie Insurance, overseeing claims and services, plus crisis prevention and management.

Swiss Re’s Corporate Solutions arm has promoted one of its executives to the role of CEO Latin America.

In his new position, Axel Brohm will lead execution of the company’s Latin America expansion strategy.

Before this new position, Brohm had been head of corporate development for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions since 2012, handling its strategic and operational initiatives.

Brohm has also led Swiss Re Corporate Solutions’ Energy and Power unit. He joined Swiss Re Group in 1997 and has held positions in underwriting and operations since that time.

A former Zurich Insurance executive is joining Ironshore International as head of Direct and Facultative Property.

Jörg Eickstädt will be based in London, with a focus on handling underwriting forExecutive Search Ironshore’s direct and facultative portfolio for U.S. and international property risks. He’ll report to Nick Wills, senior vice president, Global Property, Bermuda.

Previously, Eickstädt was head of International Property for Global Corporate (UK) at Zurich. While there, he led the global Fortune 500 property portfolio, with authority to underwrite co-insurance and reinsurance coverage for complex global property risks.

Before Zurich, Eickstädt also held leadership positions at a unit of Munich Re and at Hannover Re, both in Germany.
