The war for executive talent continued to rage in the property/casualty insurance industry last year, as carriers announced new hires at management and executive levels, mainly from competitors within the industry.

But for every nine executives they hire, property/casualty insurers lose 10 for various reasons, including people retiring or taking jobs in other fields in addition to those who move between competitors, according to an analysis by Carrier Management.
